Sophia (BA Economics) Founder & Marketing Speciliast brings more than 15 years' experience in international marketing in high-growth environments and a top-flight track record in product and services marketing on 'both sides of the pond' and across Europe.
Swedish born Sophia has developed her B2B marketing and management expertise in previous roles as Director of New Business & Marketing for award winning global communications agency Weber Shandwick where she demonstrated how to increase revenue rapidly through new business development methodology, strategic partnerships and by repositioning the brand.
As the Sales & Marketing Director for EMEA she was the driving commercial force taking i-Play from a small start up, to create a global leader in mobile gaming raising $25M venture capital. Sophia also has considerable experience as a freelance marketing executive and business mentor successfully completing a range of interim and mentoring assignments in retail, luxury goods, leisure, tourism, creative & arts.
Sophia is a Chartered Marketer (CIM™) combining business methodology and rigour with a passion for turning great ideas into thriving business ventures. A passionate linguist, she speaks 6 languages and is married and lives with her family and ponies in Buckinghamshire.
